التقى الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم برؤساء عدد من كبريات الشركات الدولية العاملة في قطاع الصناعة، المشاركين في النسخة الثالثة من الملتقى والمعرض الدولي السنوي للصناعات الذي يعقد في مصر خلال الفترة من 25 إلى 27 نوفمبر الجاري، وذلك بحضور الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء، والمهندس كامل الوزير نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء للتنمية الصناعية ووزير الصناعة والنقل، والمهندس محمد زكي السويدي رئيس اتحاد الصناعات المصرية.
وفي بداية اللقاء، رحب الرئيس بالحضور، مؤكداً على حرص مصر على بذل كافة الجهود لتحفيز القطاع الصناعي، بهدف توطين الصناعة، وتشجيع استخدام التكنولوجيا في الصناعة، وتطوير الصناعات التكنولوجية المتخصصة، فضلاً عن تعزيز الصناعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة وزيادة تنافسيتها، وأشار السيد الرئيس إلى الخطوات التي اتخذتها مصر لتحسين مناخ الاستثمار وتذليل العقبات التي تواجه المستثمرين وتطوير بيئة الأعمال، مؤكداً أن الحكومة المصرية سوف تواصل بذل الجهد واتخاذ ما يلزم من قرارات وإجراءات لإزالة العقبات أمام المستثمرين.
وقد شدد الرئيس في هذا الصدد على اهتمام مصر بتفعيل الشراكات مع الكيانات الإقليمية والدولية، بما يحقق المصلحة للدولة وللمستثمرين، موضحاً أنه تأكيداً من الدولة على التزامها بدعم القطاع الصناعي، فإنها على استعداد لتعزيز التعاون مع القطاع الخاص الأجنبي من خلال تفعيل مشروعات مشتركة، بما يضمن نقل الخبرات للعمالة المصرية، مشدداً على أن تلك المشروعات يجب أن تستهدف الزيادة الكبيرة والملموسة في المكون المحلي في المنتجات النهائية، وتوطين صناعة مستلزمات الإنتاج.
كما أكد الرئيس على وجود قطاعات متعددة ضمن أولويات مصر في جهود توطين الصناعة، ومن ضمنها الاستثمار في توفير مستلزمات تحلية وإعادة تدوير المياه، بما يدعم المشروعات الوطنية ذات الصلة.
وأضاف السفير/ محمد الشناوي المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن رؤساء الشركات الحاضرة قد أشادوا من جانبهم بالجهود الكبيرة التي تقوم بها الحكومة المصرية لتحسين مناخ الاستثمار وتعزيز الشراكة مع القطاع الخاص، مستعرضين الفرص المتاحة للتعاون بين الجانبين، ومؤكدين حرصهم على تطوير التعاون مع مصر بما يحقق المصالح المتبادلة.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي أن عدداً من رؤساء الشركات المتخصصة في قطاعات صناعة السيارات والصناعات المغذية، الأجهزة المنزلية، الصناعات الهندسية، صناعة الأخشاب والأثاث، الصناعات الغذائية، صناعة المنسوجات، صناعة مستحضرات التجميل، وقطاع الإنشاءات ومحطات التحلية، قد أجروا خلال الاجتماع حواراً تفاعلياً مع السيد الرئيس، أكدوا فيه على حرصهم على الاستجابة لسياسة الدولة في توطين الصناعة، وزيادة المنتج المحلي في التصنيع، وتقديرهم لما تقدمه الدولة من تسهيلات وإعفاءات ضريبية تشجيعاً للاستثمار.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the heads of a number of major international companies operating in the industrial sector, who are participating in the third edition of the Annual International Industry Forum and Exhibition, held from November 25 to 27. Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, and Head of the Federation of Egyptian Industries Eng. Mohamed Zaki Al-Suwaidi were also present.
President El-Sisi stressed Egypt’s keenness to exert all efforts to stimulate the industrial sector, with the aim of localizing the industry, encouraging the use of technology in industry, developing specialized technological industries, as well as enhancing small and medium-sized industries and increasing their competitiveness. The President referred to the steps taken by Egypt to improve the investment climate, eliminate obstacles facing investors, and improve the business environment, stressing that the Egyptian government will continue to make efforts and to take the necessary decisions and measures to remove obstacles facing investors.
The President emphasized Egypt’s interest in effectuating partnerships with regional and international entities, so as to serve the interests of the state and investors. The President noted that in order to confirm its commitment to supporting the industrial sector, the state is ready to enhance cooperation with the foreign private sector by effectuating joint projects, in a way that ensures the transfer of expertise to Egyptian workers, stressing that these projects must target a significant and tangible increase in the local component in final products, and the localization of the production requirements industry.
President El-Sisi also stressed that there were multiple sectors among Egypt’s priorities to localize industry, including investment in providing water desalination and recycling requirements, to support relevant national projects.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, said the heads of the companies in attendance noted the great efforts made by the Egyptian government to improve the investment climate and enhance partnership with the private sector, reviewing the available opportunities for cooperation between the two sides, and stressing their keenness to develop cooperation with Egypt in a way that achieves mutual interests.
The heads of companies specialized in the sectors of automotive manufacturing and supporting industries, home appliances, engineering industries, wood and furniture industries, food industries, textile industries, cosmetics industry, construction sector and desalination plants, engaged in a discussion with the President, during which they stressed their keenness to respond to the state’s policy of localizing industry, and increasing local production in manufacturing, and expressed their appreciation for the facilitations and tax exemptions provided by the state to encourage investment.
