وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية بأن الاتصال تناول الأوضاع الإقليمية، حيث أكد الرئيس على أهمية العمل على وقف التصعيد الجاري بين إسرائيل وإيران، محذراً من التبعات الجسيمة لتوسع دائرة الصراع في المنطقة، ومؤكداً على ضرورة العودة لمائدة التفاوض حقناً للدماء، كما أشاد سيادته بالدور الذي تقوم به سلطنة عُمان للوساطة بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، مؤكداً ضرورة استعادة مسار المفاوضات وتعزيزه لتجنيب المنطقة ويلات الحرب، ومن جانبه ثمن جلالة سلطان عُمان الجهود المصرية لوقف العنف بالمنطقة، مؤكداً حرص بلاده على العمل المشترك في هذا الإطار.
وأضاف السفير محمد الشناوي، المتحدث الرسمي، أن الجانبان أكدا على أولوية العمل على وقف إطلاق النار في غزة، وإنفاذ المساعدات الإنسانية للقطاع لإنقاذ أهله من المأساة الإنسانية التي يتعرضون لها بسبب العدوان الإسرائيلي، وشددا على أن إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة يعد الضمان الأساسي لاستقرار مستدام بالشرق الأوسط.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي أن الاتصال شهد تأكيد الجانبين على عمق العلاقات المصرية العُمانية، وحرصهما على دفع مسيرة العمل المشترك في مختلف المجالات بما يتفق مع العلاقات التاريخية بين البلدين الشقيقين.

During the call, both sides affirmed the deep Egyptian-Omani relations and their keenness to advance joint action across various fields in line with the historical relations between the two brotherly countries.
